The Lost Sheep

As he wandered around in anguish, he prayed for someone to rescue him. Would he manage to survive in this foreign land or would he surely cease to exist?

We are living in the last days. Time is running out. Life on this earth is becoming more and more unbearable. Crime has gone up. Violence and sex have plagued our society through television, music, movies, and video games. We have become desensitized and our level of morality is nearly. The number of deaths outnumbers the number of births. Natural disasters are happening in every corner of the world. Tears are being shed and cries have shattered the silence of the once peaceful Garden of Eden.

We are lost. This entire world is lost. We have lost our way. Sadly, most of us don’t even have a clue that we have veered off of the path that was already paved by Christ when he died for us on Calvary.

We need to read His Word. The bible is His GPS (God’s Positioning System). It gets us from point A to point B and back, helping us to navigate around the pitfalls and obstacles that seek to lead us off-course. God is omniscient. He knows and sees all. Why should we doubt Him who is the Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending? He sees the past, knows the present, and plans for the future. It is His Word that will bring us through. If you look closely, the bible is an invaluable guide in our Christian walk. It details the lives of men, women, and children who dealt with the same challenges we face today. They dealt with poverty, betrayal, fornication, adultery, pain, death, depression, illness, jealousy, anger. Their lives serve as examples on how trust and faith in God can bring us through as it did for them.

Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path. [Psalm 119:105] For the commandment is a lamp; and the law is light; and reproofs of instruction are the way of life: [Proverbs 6:23]

Allow yourself to be found by Him. A life in darkness is a life lost. Come into His light. Commit yourself to Him and His ways, for they will lead to eternal life.

I have gone astray like a lost sheep; seek thy servant; for I do not forget thy commandments. [Psalm 119:176 KJV]

Thanks for reading and remember God loves you.
